- Minutes of the LA Section Meeting held 2/8/07

1. Louisiana Section Bylaws were reviewed.

2. Section Match - the board voted to not have a Section Match for 2007. The reason for the decision by the board was trying to find an open date for the match. The only date would have been early April which would not have given the clubs enough time to put together a good match considering stages, awards, registration, setup, etc. The section is looking forward for a Section Match in 2008.

3. Classifiers - each club decided to pick classifiers for the year so there would not be any repetition of these stages by clubs throughout the year.

4. Section Funds - it was voted on by the clubs to assess each club $3 per shooter based on the 2006 club membership. These monies will go into a Section Fund to be used for start-up money for the Section Match, club emergencies, or any other matters that the section clubs deem fit.

5. Future RO Classes - we are thinking of having another Level 1 RO Class in May. Anyone interested in taking this class should contact Gary Thibodaux

6. Gary will look into contact with USPSA concerning slots for the Nationals. Further information will follow.
